Employment
The Office of Public Advocacy is committed to hiring a diverse work force and all qualified applicants are encouraged to apply for open positions. OPA has both guardian ad litem and attorney guardian ad litem staff positions. Staff positions are in the partially-exempt service class, serve at the pleasure of the Public Advocate, and are not advertised on WorkPlace Alaska.
If there is not an open position currently being advertised and you are interested in a position, you may send a cover letter and resume at anytime to one of the supervising attorneys in our regional offices. (see About Us link). Openings may be posted on this website. If we have your resume on file, we will notify you of openings.
