Becoming a staff GAL
Staff GAL positions are partially exempt positions and are not advertised through Workplace Alaska. Openings may be posted on this website. If there is not an open position currently being advertised and you are interested in an Anchorage or Palmer GAL position, you may send a cover letter and resume at anytime to Supervising Attorney, Child Advocacy Unit, Office of Public Advocacy, 900 W. 5th Ave., Ste. 525, Anchorage, AK 99501. If you are interested in a staff GAL position in one of our other regional offices, please send a resume and cover letter to the supervising attorney in the regional office, (see About Us). If we have your resume on file, we will notify you of openings.
